There are days (it seems like everyday) When you happen to show up In my thoughts. When I stumble upon An aquantence That both you and I Somehow happen to know, I wonder.... Do you think of me? When I sleep in the once comfortable bed Which you and I slept in played in talked in made love in I can't help but wonder.... Do you think of me? When I walk into a room and the ghost of your presence is still fresh As though you were there the night before I wonder... Do you think of me? When I drive down the road And see a truck like yours Same color, same make, same model I still wonder... Do you think of me? When I sit and cry at night Remembering what we shared What we had And knowing the fact That we'll never speak Or BE on that level again.... When I lie in bed awake at night Praying that you would hold me Just once more.... When I read over old forgotten words you wrote in response to mine The I love you's The I will never leave you's.... When I long for your touch, your voice, your kiss I still can't help but to wonder.... Do you think of me? Reminds me of when I divorced my first wife and I didn't want to let go...I couldn't let go...this was a long time ago..and she had just bought a Ford Taurus before we separated and it seems like everywhere I drove I would see a Ford Taurus...thank God I am over that...James |

Simply beautiful..Totally in love with your words. It brought alot of old feelings out again. Some good and some bad, yet all in all I thank you for reminding me of something that at one time was good....Keep writing. |
