     a new day dawns
     or so it seems
     was he real?
     the man of her dreams?

     or did he exist
     only in her mind?
     yes, he must
     true love she'd not find

     and so she woke
     to battle again
     they would win
     the question was "when?"

But in her dreams, she battled not alone
His strength he gave her, true love he'd shown
And with the sword of his passion and the shield of his heart
He swore loyalty to her, his queen and pledged he would ne'er part

He stood beside her in his armour so bright
Dispeling the demons with the rays of love's light
He guarded her dreams while she slept this Knight of love so bold
Protecting her from the nightmares that would have made her heart so cold

And when dawn would come, she would ask his name
"Romantic Warrior" was all he would say
And then in a flash of blue light and the blink of an eye
This warrior would go again to his home in the sky

     a new day dawns
     or so it seems
     was he real?
     the man of her dreams?

     he didn't exist
     only in her mind
     next to her
     true love she did find

     and so they woke
     to battle again
     they would win
     the question was "when?"

               "soon my love soon"
               he would always say
               with his love
               she'd face any day

               he was her Knight
               Warrior of love
               true angel
               sent from up above

A beautiful dream it is!  Only a sweet, sensitive and romantic man like you could pen such beauty! I think many of us women have a "romantic warrior" that we long to find, but find only in dreams

Take care,

Ah, thy armour rings throughout the knell
and horse's step doth foretell
my Knight, thee have come back to me
true love shall reign in storybooks well.

I liked this one, I think most times
that TIME is the only deciding factor in whether someone is real. It was written quite well.
