The skies fell
the seas boiled
all around
the screams of the damned

Every wish goes unfulfilled
Every plant dies
in every field
the earth dies

Green blood pours
into the air
away from blow
carrying it there

great chasms opened
in the plains and farms
swallowing the pious
swallowing the damned

as the great cry went up
WHY US LORD WHY US
can like be so cruel
to take the genious and the fool

Looking down and to the sky
those who knew they were to die
became resigned to their fate
the fight was gone simple hate

We the lost ones
stare at the sky
watching live and space
as they go by

Never did we know
lifes cruel plan
all will die
to the man

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the roses falling
'Tis

Not really sure what to say here. Tis kind of a bleak outlook. I would understand this to be the Revelations period. The end times.
Not all shall die, but certainly all flesh will.

This is well written in that it shall scare the 'hell' out of many. But not necessarily my views on what will happen.

This is probably not the best time to pluck out a piece of Taoism but
"Returning to the root is called quietude.
Quietude is called returning to life.
Return to life is called constant.
Knowing this constant is called illumination.
Acting arbitrarily without knowing the constant is harmful.
Knowing the constant is receptivity, which is impartial.

Impartiality is kingship.
Kingship is Heaven.
Heaven is Tao
Tao is eternal.

Though you lose the body, you do not die".

a very intense and dark poem, I remember walking through similar places and am sure I will revisit them again but please don't stay there or lose yourself to the pain. I wish you well take care and peace, I hope you find that ray of light.

"an afixiation a fix on anything the line of life the limb of a tree
the hands of he and the promise that s/he is blessed among women".
Patti Smith

Wow.  There seems to be a lot of pain going around here this morning.  Hugs for you Walter. ( No speeches from me this morn.)

I will just simply say ...I've missed you...
and I hope to see more of you here again.
as you know I always look for the light in the dark ...

There is a light switch in your heart and soul somewhere....just takes awhile to find it at times.  Excellent read though I had to read it by candle light.
