Stepping out the door today,
The dog thought he could have his way,
I had his collar in my hand,
But soon I found I could not stand.
The deck was covered with fresh snow,
But this big dog, he had to go,
So off he ran and down I went,
Landing on that hard cement.
Bathrobe up around my ears,
My eyes were filling up with tears,
And just as I got to my feet,
A cat came by for Bo to meet.
He took off running once again,
And back I'm down where I had been,
Sliding in the slushy snow,
In my jammies don't ya know.
Down the driveway to the street,
When the neighbor man I meet,
Who wondered if my mind was right,
For big ol' Bo was outta sight.
And I was sitting in the snow,
Blushing with a bright red glow,
Robe and jammies wet and torn,
Revenge is mine tomorrow morn.

Been there, done that, and if you're going to be a dog owner...or owned by a dog...you're going to do it again!  Great LOL...thanks!

Bonnie~

You tell the tale
with such delight -
I can just bet
you were a sight.

In robe and jammies
sitting there
I can just see
the neighbor's stare

And then there is
the sight of Bo
Waiting for a chance
to make yellow snow !

LOL !    LOL !
Hey ... Congratulations on the 2000th post !
Love ya'
