Play Me

Play me, Please! Just one more time
This broken heart you know so well
Show me the hope of what this love may be
Let me feel that magic of your spell

Play for me those dulcet tones
Let me feel them echo through my mind
Offering sweet smile and soft caress
With never a thought to that left behind

Let me hear those strained and soulful sounds
That gentle touch of love's sweet refrain
As I close these eyes and drift away
Make me feel alive, take away this pain

Strum your fingers gently across this soul
And caress this lonely spirit once more
This heart cries out for that tortured song
Dreams now shattered lay prone on the floor

As this soul reverberates with your tune so fine
Please tell me again, that it was meant to be
Play again that sweet song, one last encore
Can you hear me cry out, please! Play me!

Ooooh Eddie,
I would play you forever and never let you go, never damage your frame and we could make beautiful music together.

Congratulations on the 1000th may there be many more just as beautiful as this.
Be well

The Eagle has landed. Well done, you have written a beautifully orchestrated piece here. I hear violins sad, melodic and vibrant all at the same time. Absolutely wonderful. And congrats on 1,000. Wish you the best. Ron
