Shangri-La Just Up The Road

Just up the road is Shangri-La
so I’ve been told.
So many pass my way to utopia
on the highway of love,
aura’s glowing with loves sweet
embrace.

Walks of life, race nor creed hold
wedge between loves
firm grip, so simple it appears
finding treasured
realm  of love, it’s as if they found
the maps and keys
to paradise’s front gates.

Passing my way they freely share
their story’s filled
with passions tenderly shared,
moments of doubt,
troublesome times, but never
a second did their
love for each other waver.

They conveyed, keeping eyes straight
ahead and hearts open,
their dreams and hopes kept them
always moving forward
towards the Shangri-La in
their hearts.

The common thread I found was
the hope they possessed,
strong, firmly planted in their
hearts and nothing
would have the power to take
it away.

Changing my dreams and hopes
from the imaginary
realm, into a reality strong enough
to conquer that which
keeps me from my hearts most
wanted treasure to be
truly loved.

Cerenity,
If I say excellent it doesn't go nearly far enough to explaining how I feel aobut this poem. So I will say it's splendiferuous and dazzling.
Be well

Cerenity~
Oh ... to be in Shangri La !

'The common thread I found was
the hope they possessed'

What a weave it is,
this common thread -
for with it much hope
lies straight ahead.

Love ya', gal.
