"Touched By An Angel" I never knew I needed someone so much Like a deep need inside, I crave your touch Never knew one moment could define who you are Not until I was touched by an Angel And my wishes came true on a shooting star I never knew the feelings of wind Never knew a soulmate can make your heart mend I now can paint with all my colors...purple green and blue But that didn't occur until I was touched by an Angel That Angel being you I never knew parts of me weren't whole Or that a special someone held the key to my soul I always thought there places of me I couldn't explore Didn't find them until I was touched by an Angel With you in my arms, I'll forever soar I never knew the tides of the ocean beat in rhythm to the moon Or how it felt to take a long nap in mid-afternoon There were chains around my soul that just couldn't be broken But they were the moment I was touched by an Angel They shattered with the lovely words that were spoken I never knew one heart could beat for two Or how a kiss could set you on fire, I didn't have a clue Love was always for someone else, but certainly not me That was until I was touched by an Angel Now I know that we were meant to be Amy M Kennedy |
