You and Your Brain, FAQ

The mind is fallacious,
often misplacing crucial data,
sealing off records marked "Important!"
On occasion, it mimics
the human sense of humor –
once the REM sleep phase has been entered,
it abruptly restores the dossier,
pasting news flashes across the insides of lids.
This results in sudden onset of wakefulness
and general amazement to the recipient.
It should be noted that if not retained in writing,
the data may be lost.

When emotions rule this sector,
damage to the psyche may occur,
systems overload,
then flood unwanted memories,
emotions such as sadness
or anger may be triggered,
along with possible production
of saline.

Dreams perform system management
of thought processes, especially those
ignored during waking hours,
exploring that which beings
fantasize about or fear most.

In biochemical nature,
it is diametrically opposed
to C2H60 and countless
other natural and synthetic
pharmaceuticals.

If cared for properly,
(and if chromosomes
do not contain contaminated DNA)
the brain should function
normally for many years to come.

Thank you, Serenity! Guess I could follow up with one that reads:  Care and Maintenance of Your Brain:  Handle With Care!

Ethome, higher levels of seratonin may be dangerouls to your health, stimulating the pleasure point of the brain, leading to, um, well, you know!

Thanks!

Corinne,
What a great write, well done. Yeah, the brain is complex. It is only if we allow others to manipulate our thoughts that we are not in control.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Thanks, Walt, Sea, Wilfred and Daniel!  Had fun with it, still editing, too. Seems my brain doesn't think this thing is quite done!
