What our emotion has become
Takes me to a higher realm.
A level so high,
I haven't dreamed of it
In my deepest fantasies.
Though the storm clouds
Bring in those overused expressions,
Everyday brings me
A new meaning.
Tell me,
Where do I go,
What do I do,
Now that all I cherish
Has been taken?
Where do I rest my head;
When can I close
My weary eyes?
The sky has gone black
Once again;
The sun has been hidden
From us.
Don’t let go!
That is the intention
Of the storm.
Hold on to my hand--
Don’t ask
When to let go!
Such a time will never come!
I will always have you
In my heart,
Just so long
As you hold on.

Do not go where the path may lead, but instead, go where there is no path and leave a trail. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

If a love is real and shared by two then it will weather even the roughest of storms and the respect for one another will grow in strength just from the battling against the onslaught of doubt.  Wonderful, but heartwrenching write my friend.
