...and the rose cries crimson memories fall thorns of the past prick sturdy and yet weak witness to pain...and pleasure drowning in the mist of you swallowed by a kiss of your scent unfolding petals longing to drink of passion... once us then wilting in the shade... alone ... and the rose cries |

I love when I read a piece, and I can see the image unfolding in my mind. There is something so sad, and somewhat final about a wilting rose...I suppose that's why we have the rose bush itself...always the hope of a new blossom. (rambling here) Have I ever told you just how much I enjoy your writing? ~enb~ |
