I closed my eyes,
And emptied myself into your soul.
Sweet lips to skin,
Heated bodies pressed so close.

Surviving in dream,
Destined to fade of morning dew,
I give of myself,
Let me mesh into you.

Think not of tomorrow,
As you take me in your arms-
Tonight- make me feel beautiful,
Devour me with your charms.

I’ll survive if only-
For your hands upon my flesh,
Crush into me, my darlin-
Grant me this small death.

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

Hi devina,

I enjoyed the read. It is a very sensual poem, but the love seems so cold.

Well, it's been a long time since I've read anything from you...  You certainly haven't lost your passion, that's for sure.  Wonderfully done, D, though I wouldn't call anything here small.  Good to see ya here.

Ah to suffer that sweetest of death. . .

Wonderful. . . sweet and sensual. . .

Did I mention that it's nice to have you back here?
