The moment I heard your cry
I knew you were mine
Sending thanks to God most high
As your eyes began to shine

An angel bestowed to me
To care for and love
Finding a home in my heart eternally
As sent pure from him above

Each day you grow and live
My love grows stronger still
Striving each day to give
So much that you overfill

Look in my eyes and you will see
As my heart opens...hear me say
My angel daughter...a gift to me
I love you sweetheart...in every way

*For Katrina*

Butterflies~ This is truly beautiful.
Not in words alone... this needs to be in a frame! Just lovely.

Butterfly....this is just so beautiful.   I know that Katrina shall always treasure these words from your heart. I can't wait to see you take up JM's challenge, it should be most interesting.   Once again this is so beautiful, and special, take care my friend!

Tis the love of the sweetest mother I know
kissed of heart and hugged from angels on high
There are mom's and mommies and mothers aglow
But none with your pureity my sweet butterfly

The love in your tone and all that you show
The tender caring in your proudest "mom" sighs
Your fire for her happiness as you watch her grow
Brings the sweetest tears as this cowboy cries

Holly, I know of no other mother that outshines the love you have for both of your children and I know that she will forever cherish this piece from you.  It is without a doubt the sweetest read of yours ever and so deservingly so. I could go on and on but will just say to all out there...I KNOW for fact of her love and sincerity in this piece.
