Nature gives what she must
and we take what we can
crawling in snail-like motion
at the mind-boggling speed of
one ant-step per stroke of time.

Like green grasshoppers -
cross-legged, yet jumping
hopping around in hope
of gaining some leeway
in a fantasy filled flight.

What's this race for?

A desperate competition
to earn the blinded feeling
nurturing pride in a mad lust
torturing self in fame's flames
in a desire for vast acclaim.

Ah, what an excuse, so lame!

Ah, humanity! Such a shame!

Sudhir,
I loved the play on words (in more ways than one) I loved the message. There is no "con" in you, only pros.

Be well

Sudhir~
Hello, sweet poet friend.

'Nature gives what she must
and we take what we can'

That line alone is a jewel shining.

So very good to see you.
Take care my spirited friend.

All my grand friends, thanks so much for your ever present support, in these busy days...

You all are so kind... Thanks a million...

Just a few days back, I finally had the time to be back to where I belong, but NO!!!

WORK BECKONS yet again with its evil fingers drawing me closer and nearer to stress...

but then I enjoy working...  so no complains, but I will have a bit more delay in enjoying myself...

see ya all soon...

regards,
sudhir
