my lady of the night
hear the song I sing for thee
a song of twilight desires
          and midnight fantasies
sung where moonlight shadows
play across the walls of existence
harmonizing with the voices of other lovers
in a symphony of passion

with every touching crescendo
feel the melody I play for thee
a melody of starlight tunes
          and sunlight dreams
heard when candlelight flickers
kiss across the skies of romance
orchestrating with the instruments of other lives
in a sonata of love

and in the dimenuendo
know the notes I write for thee
a strain of dawnlight memories
          and torchlight reveries
written when firelight dancers
flare across the oceans of time
synthesizing with the keys of other hearts
in an aria of roses

Good evening Sven,
It's a pleasure to read your writings. This one to me is exceptional. Just touched me, as you wrote to your lady of the night.

*sigh* such beautiful thoughts, and a beautiful soul I know....  All we all want is for someone to feel this way about us, now that isn't such an ask is it? I think not.

As always your heart sings such a beautiful song. She would be a fool not to listen to it. Very lovely my friend.
