I offered you love without bindings…
I gave you a heart with no strings…
You took them and gave me a box full of words,
but they’re empty…they don’t mean a thing…

I reached out to touch you and found that
You couldn’t be touched from afar…
To try to find love in your box full of words
was like trying to capture a star…

You’ve built up a wall to protect you…
It keeps out the good and the bad…
And just like your words in their big empty box,
You’re secure, but your life is so sad…

And now, when I look on your picture…
I see what was there all this time…
A big lonely man, with a big empty box...
full of meaningless words that don’t rhyme…

Ahhhh.....we must have like minds, my good friend!!  Most of the ladies out there would agree that they see through the boxes of meaningless words that make up more than a few relationships!!  Agreed?
Thank you for coming to visit!!

OHHHH MY dear sweet girl...you have such power in your words and how someone could pass up the opportunity to smile with you forever is beyond me.  I guess some guys are just afraid of being happy.  {{hugs}} to you dear one. Hear these words....I CARE about family and you are family..so there....

I can relate to this one Sunny1..i get you and the other Sunny mixed up sometimes..just like kit and kitkat. haa..i think you have to look into a persons eyes when they talk, because you really cant tell just by reading their words if they are sincere..nicely written..

Oh, yes, you are family to this gypsy girl, and I'm so glad. I also know that any words that come from you are full of truth, and I never need doubt them.
Thank you for that!!

~~~ Victoria ~~~
It's easy to get all these sunny names mixed up, but that's ok.......it's only a name!! The important thing to me is that you came by to read my words, and left me with a warm reply!!!      Thank you!!!
~~~ Hello jm ~~~

Oh, you are so right....sometimes the other person doesn't want you taking those walls down, and if you don't realize that at the start......well......your heart might not get broken, but it gets badly bruised!!
Thank you, my friend!!

Wonderful my friend. . . sometimes, it is hard to open that box. . . sometimes, you open it just to find that there's another box inside. . . it can hurt. . .

But we go on. . .

Sven....
Yes, we go on, and we learn, and we try not to make that same mistake again, and we try even harder not to be bitter and harbor anger.  Yes.......my friend, you are so right, and I thank you!!

Oh my dear friend. You spoke words so real here. How do they expect that we won't see through their empty, meaningless words? And yes we do go on and hopefully we learn from every heartache but the pain is no less real.
Tender hugs to you my friend,
Juls

Hello Juls.....
So good to see you, my friend!!! Yes, sometimes things are so transparent, but we still don't want to see their value. There does come a time when we are forced to look at the truth!!
Thank you for stopping in for a visit!!

Sunny, bravo and resounding cheers, is this a fantastic poem or am I a sweet young thing who's never been kissed. (And Sunny girl, I'm neither that innocent or that young)
This just sings to my soul, as clear as the truth will always ring. Mind you how anyone could turn away from an angel like you I've no idea, but hey no one said life was easy. Anyway with the amount of sisters I have (5 love) one more would make us a set, so as from now I'll consider you my sister. May god help you, and as family you have a duty to use us for support and a chat. Be good, I know you are, and take care

         Marsha

I did tell you I love this didn't I?
Because I do

Yeah....I took that box and threw it in the burning barrel after I performed a little ceremony!!!!!  Words can be our most dangerous weapons.
