Rhythms, Rainbows And All That's Wonderful Rhythms, rainbows and all that's wonderful Thinking of you, this moment today. Reigning my thoughts, with memories of touching Smiling through tears, prismed rainbows', display. Rhythms, actions speak louder than words Sayings of old, rise slowly to lips. Rainbows of loving once painted my world. Streaking, now smeared by my own fingertips. Bowed golden yellow, held treasures so hopeful Sparkling like stars, smiling these eyes. Tarnished like silver, the air now dampens Raining, the wetness, still falls from the skies. Blue of my hazel, that's shared with the forest Often times hued with the shadings of gray Emptied of color, now edged in soft redness Silence say eyes, seeking peace in this way. Rainbows of colors, no base ones will do me Comforted only in burgundies, teal Favored by blackness, in dark, for contentment Flowered, I'm bathed, with a touch and a steal. Rhythms, rainbows and all that's wonderful Thinking of you, this moment today. Reigning my thoughts, loving the memories Forever in wanting, my rainbows to stay. M |
