When and How

If I could walk among the trees
Taste the scent and feel the breeze.
See the blue of back ground sky
Watch the birds as they fly by.

Just wander in this wonder land
As naked as a jay to stand.
Taking off the shrouding shroud
Stand alone without the crowd.

To press the grass beneath my feet
Feel the sun its warmth and heat.
To throw away the code of mean.
Wash myself in freedoms clean

To love in pure a natures bride
Without thought and naught to hide.
Caress the other side my soul.
Only this would make me whole.

As life goes by I sit the now
Will it ever and when and how?

now thats just about the coolest line...
I mean when ya REALLY think about it...
its very cool...SO very cool indeed...
so is the premise and wisdom behind the whole poem
So IS the poet who wrote it...

I really like this poem, all of it, but like Janet my favourite line has to be

To throw away the code of mean

That is an amazing concept, well done I like this, very well written

The how and when you do not lose
But it is not for us to choose
Or even ask the when or how
Some day they will appear "right now"

Very beautiful and meaningful poem
