Kansas flatline winds
dry, crackling, flying dust, leaves
whisk my love to me

This is what happens when you sleep, a new forum opens and you miss everything. Well Karilea congradulations on having the first poem in the new forum and if I type fast enough I might even be the first reply. I am letting out a big sigh here wouldn't it be great if the winds could carry us to loved ones who live far away. I am going Tornado watching and seeing if I can get one heading towards Australia. Beautiful poem...no place like home, love those ruby slippers.

riding winds of change
swirling mass of emotion
rest within your heart

Kansas winds so dry
in the heart as dust in eye
blinks for tomorrow

Sunshine,
Through colored glases
The dust turns a lovely hue
Why not try this view?

Why Mr. Yeats, yet another Haiku from you...I must have done something very right today...thank you!...

Sy, I've been accused of wearing several shades of rose colored glasses in my past...there are times we do need to take them off...[don't worry, they'll go back on soon!]...thank you!

Sven, kind words indeed...it was a BLAST opening up the Forums this morning and finding 10 all to my lonesome...

Jenn, indeed, one never knows what the winds will blow in...good fortunes, whispers...dust...

Oh this is lovely, really lovely. I'll catch me a dream, hook myself to a cloud and then let those winds carry me off.
