I am...
I am...
what?
I am all.
I am nothing.
I am new,
yet decidedly old.
I am me.
Most certainly I am myself.

My mother say’s I am special.

I have been you.
And I have been them.
I’ve been all been that one could be.
But I have given it up,
Just to be me.
(I never joined the army)

I am human.
I am sin.
I am forgiveness.
I am animalistic.
I am damnation,
yet I hold salvation.

I am not you.
I am not them.
I am a figment
of your imagination.

I know it's been a long road
To get these towns behind me and I
Will gladly reap what we may sow--
I am there for you ...
and you're there for me ...
Are you waiting for
Heart in hand
Woman and man
See me where I stand I am
Heart
Heart in hand
