Dedication – to Elizabeth Santos & Pepper I peruse with mine grateful eyes Twilight’s song of ending light, knowing that the flames that brought it forth are bright; and knowing that I will never write with such profound clarity. but still, that littlest flicker of golden light will continue to burn in the depths of mine soul, until such time as I light thy world with mine own words. I doth gaze with longing on the art that traverses in each poet’s heart and in whispered reverie I impart their words to mine memory. but still, that littlest flicker of golden light will continue to burn in the depths of my soul until such time as I light the world with mine own words. I will never, ever be all that I would wish to see as to thy palette the poets’ loving art is seen in the world so stretched out before me, here, in the Blues of Passions. but still, that littlest flicker of golden light will continue to burn in the depths of my soul until such time as I light the world with mine own words. Sunshine With these words you have lit the world, and brightened my day. I could never have written this with "such profound clarity", for it is a mirror of YOUR soul, and it will remain forever in my heart. To have such an exquisite poem dedicated to me and our dear friend, Shannon,is an honor bestowed to few, and I thank you dearly for the dedication and for writing such a lovely piece. what a gorgeous poem...such perfect words. and about 2 very kind ladies. I hope Liz knows how in awe of her I am by now..but I will again happily say she is AMAZING both in her talent and heart... and I so glad to have this opportunity to say something to Pepper...as we dont have a poem post from her to reply to.. Pepper...thank you SO much... for the many kind replies to my work here. You always say such encouraging things... and it is so cool the way you come in here and read all our poems. thanks for the place to say this Sunshine, and again...this poem is exceptional. take care, jm Is it too much to find an answer, Is it too much to hold you close.
