I will not die happy < !signature-->Until I've been lampooned By Babs or Buster Bunny Or any Tiny Toon For I'm the Entertainer I work hard for your applause I'll make pun of myself And make known all my flaws Anything for the laugh Anything for the joke I'll buy up fake vomit While you smile that I'm broke And then one day the shivers I took a pen in my hand And penned a perverse verse No one could understand I write a witticism Nothing could be plainer I welcome criticism To be your Entertainer Bugs Bunny is to Daffy What my dreams are to my luck Then the lead role of my life Will be played by Plucky Duck!! Walt~ Your poetry just has the knack for putting a smile on my face ... even if it is a little grin. I'm not sure that I always 'get' it .. and that intrigues me to read it again. Out of all the poets here ... you are the one that intrigues me the most. You are very versatile in your writing. Sometimes touching tender with such reverence that it blows me away. Then taking me on a musical review through your CD cabinet ... up one note and down the other. I'm still mystified over the 'Moses wave' but I keep going back to make sure it is still there. Yuh .. it is ! When you flash your family photos in verse that's when you're at your proudest. Keep it up, my man. thanx bobby cat i love toons soooo much marge sniff yuh thanx i am so happy to know that i made a difference with my poetry yuh that's all an entertainer could dream of.. oh and i said something like if anyone understands the moses poem they are precious well if yuh understood it or not marge ye be precious to me with you and your poetry..here's a lil repost yuh Moses Don't Do the Wave I will live and I will die Just in the blink of an eye Corrective lenses might help But then again I'd just yelp For they pinch my nose I need air So for the sum of it all I live and die for I'm small Without my lenses for aid I might just blink and betrayed Adjusting to darkness down there So if I'll live and not die By just not blinking my eye Moses arms high on the mount As his foes die I lose count Said he "It's impolite if you stare!" lol walt I would have to say that you are one of the few unique poets here You write abour bizarre things in bizaare ways while most stick to normal subjects and forms Bravo on another great poems |

So NOW I know where all that fake vomit went! Everyplace I checked they were all sold out. I shoulda known. Walt, your mind resides in planets I am unfamiliar with but I'd love to visit them some day! |
