           She blew me a kiss

She showed me a measure of paradise.
A ration of creation in rondeau.
For only my eyes and twice to suffice.
In adulation, only lovers know.

I took her hand into fantasies grand
And wondered in the shadows undertoe.
Fell in love with the colors of this land
And walked on the edge of a rainbow.

It raked every emotion that I knew,
Stirred every feeling to the edge of quake.
Brought day and night into rendezvous.
And swept me into the realm of awake.

I'd been offered something beyond my belief.
A souls invitation an open door.
From a life time reef of secluded grief,
To a bid of love of evermore.

I reached out my soul to this angels invite,
But she had to leave on the afternoon flight.

Ain't that the way it happens, Sy!? Maybe that's why they call them angels...they're always flying somewhere. More than once I've said goodbye to a first class girl in an economy seat.....good writing here

If there is only to be one moment then that moment will last a lifetime in memory...**sigh** a beautiful poem may you rendezvous again quite soon   for it creates breath taking works to behold.

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

So hard it is when dove flies in
And leaves again with passing wind
Perhaps some day a rondez vous
Will bring her flying back to you
I wish for you a rainbow's end
And lots of happiness, my friend

Keep up the wonderful poetry

Seymour~
How you take me along on your
flights-of-fantasy.
Can I book a round-trip ticket?
Love you.

Seymour, I just love what you can do with a verb.

To all my friends that wrote above,
You have my heart, you have my love.
I thank you all a million times,
You've rung my bell a million chimes.

Darn work, darn responsibility
keeping me from beautiful poetry -
Sy, you've done rung my chime,
may the last ding-dong be mine!

Enjoyed reading this...thats why I always have my phone number ready.  It doesn't pay off too much anyway.  I guess some people only come into your life for brief moments of enjoyment and as you say they take the afternoon flight out of our lives.   James
