I am trying so hard

I am trying so hard
to give only the love that you want
but each and every moment
at my heart it does taunt

When you speak to another
I see that smile on your face
that used to be for me
till it turned to disgrace

I am trying so hard
to be what you need
and to show you my love
in every deed

When we spend time together
you are so close, yet so far
and each precious minute
I try not to mar

I am trying so hard
to keep control of my heart
but the tears well up in side me
as I hold back thier start

I can not be ok without you
you are my life and my breath
The strength of my love
will last until death

I am trying so hard
not to be another burden
I wish only your happiness
and peace that is certain

This love you have created
with just being in my life
is more than I can handle
the loss and the strife

I am trying so hard
from so deep within me
to show how unselfish my love is
no matter what will be

I am trying so hard
but I will try harder

Tears swelled up in my eyes as i read this.This spoke such a truth and depth to me. I could feel your pain in every word and in every line of every stanza. I hope that you find what you deserve....someone who loves you the same way that you love them. take care. happy easter!

It feels like the pain lasts forever sometimes... And hurts a ton... The best to you for the future.. You try so hard to not live in the past but sometimes it seems the only thing that doesn't hurt. Right?
