I'm a wanderer, a nomad...I don't live in one particular area, Just wherever I end up.

How is it that
I couldn't remember
Until you were gone...
Your voice,
Your smile,
Your laughter......
How is it that
I never missed you as much
As I do now...
Now that you're gone..
I cry at night in rememberance
Of your understanding
Devotion
You loved me
Yet I never responded
You wanted to see me
Yet I never came...
And now you're gone
In an abyss that only you would understand
Somewhere I can never go
Conciously
I didn't get to say goodbye
When I had the chance
I never got to get one last hug in
When I had the chance
I never got to tell you how much you meant to me
When I had the chance
And now you're gone,
Time passed me by
I ask the clouds, the moon, the stars
A million times why....
Why didn't I do what I should have
When I had the chance.
And as these tears fall from my eyes
I long to hold you just to tell you goodbye
I know you were in there...you just couldn't respond
I know you wished I would come see you
In your last hours...
You were alone when you went...
NO one around.
But they were in your heart...
You were loved
Loved by many.
And although the path you walked was a rocky one
They still loved you
I still loved you....
You were like me in so many ways
Rebelious
Ecclectic
Non conforming to others ways
And now I feel like half of me is gone
And it's something I'll never get back
I'm sorry I wasn't there
Just to say goodbye
Just to kiss you one last time
Just to tell you I love you
And be in your presence for a while...
You have blessed my life in many ways
Ways you'll never know...
I just wish I could have said all of this
When I had the chance

I love and miss you Linda. Goodbye     (

Hi SorrowsMystress,

This was beautiful and i'm sure she has see it and knows how you feel. I too have been in this place and after time I found that my reason for not going to see the person was because I was afraid to say goodbye to them, I didn't want to say goodbye and I didn't want to hurt. What ever the reason then, they know now how you truly feel about them.

This was truly lovely,

Cerenity
