Another year older and wiser they say,
But I really don't feel any wiser today.
I feel like I did when I turned 21,
Just a little more bruised for the years that are done.

I've faced all the challanges that came my way,
I've counted my blessings, I count them today.
For 33 years I've know sorrow and pain,
I've known joy and completness, I've called it by name.

People have come in my life and have passed,
Each left a mark in my heart that will last.
A home I have found full of comfort and hope,
Where strong help the weak to manage and cope.

Where the heart and the pen merge in ways that astound,
Where words touch the soul in a whisper profound.

Where friendship can grow from miles away,
Where we all come at the end of the day.
Where family abound with the kindest of hearts,
Where love flows right through in our pen and our art.

Today on my birthday, I'm happy to say,
There's nothing on earth that could tear me away.
From my family of friends, Passions it's name,
For without you I know I'd not be the same.
