A young woman with whom I found a love I've never known and woke up to, maybe too late, in her need and dispair, turned to another for that fulfillment. While she professes that love for me is still there, she can not escape the safety of where she is and risk one more time the effort of giving life to that rare and fulfilling love she once believed she had found. She is suspicious and doubtful of it's existance and does not want to hurt others, she has now embraced in her search for her heart's content.
Though she has brought out in me the poetic expression of my love for her, it is very hard for me to bring out a message of direction and hope, without sounding selfish and self serving. You all have such heart and soul, that I am turning to you for the help in that message. Since she loves poetry
and the feelings it captures, I know that this is the right venue to try and reach her heart.
Thank you all so much for your encouragement and good thoughts, it has helped immensely.

To the Woman that BlindMan Loves

The Path Least Chosen

As you wander down the path of life
there is always a fork which
you must choose to travel

It will happen many times in
your life as this mystery of the
future begins to unravel

The path of which you are thinking
about choosing is not an easy one
and not one to say "One potato,
two potato, three potato, four"

It is a serious decision of one
you may want to think about
a heck of a lot more

In relationships - it is never
good to jump from the pan into
the fire.  Many people follow
their heart thinking, ah, a
new love, that is my heart's
desire

Life is not that way, the
problems you have - are just
extra baggage that you will
take along your journey,
and soon have to unpack again

It is far better to face
what hurts and learn what
causes the pain

For in a very short time -
same stuff,
same garbage,
same confusion,
same old everything

It's just with different people,
but always the same hurt -and
nothing has been gained.

The path least chosen at
the crossroads of your life
is to wait before taking
one more step to either
path ---and learn about
yourself and what "you"
want for your future.

PS, If you believe in God
Pray for your answer - he
will answer --

God does listen, but
you do have to wait
for him to respond.

You can't just walk
into a room sit down
for a few moments
and say, "God I have
so many decisions to
make in life and I don't
know what to do?"

Then walk out the room!

No, you have to wait
until he answers.

And he rarily answers
with words for he knows
that people want to argue
and explain.

God doesn't want to
hear your arguments
and excuses - he already
knows them.

Just wait, and God
will send a vision - a vision
of a picture of yourself
leading the life you
want to lead - head
held high, self pride,
decisive and true to
yourself and your own
convictions ----a
vision he will send to
you -- but sometimes
you have to wait.

I don't know how long
he makes you wait, but
he will send an answer- a
vision - if you pray to
him then wait for your
answer.
