State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-04-20 11:58 PM

Dear Lord, I know I haven't been faithful over the past twenty years
but here I am on my knees my eyes filled with tears
Begging your foregiveness for all my worldly sins
I come to you Lord so I can go home again

I come to you so I can go home again
I trust in you because I know I can
You gave your son to save us from our sins
So I turn to you so I can go home again

It seems like sometimes this old world just gets the best of me
Like everyday is another war of fighting a horrid history
I know with you beside me every battle I shall win
I come to you Lord so I can go home again

He hears you Jeffery, and His gate is always open to those who seek his love.  Just between you and me.....there will always be a special place for those who have helped another.  And Jeffery believe me YOU have!

You spoke to the one that knows all and loves us through it all....beautiful and heartfelt. Excellent, I'm thankful I read this tonight and that you chose to share it. By the way what does BTT mean??

 Hold me for yesterday
Kiss me for tomorrow
But love me for today.

Amen.

On this night he came to feast,
His fellowship around his feet.
The one denied, the one betrayed,
The one who couldn't take the heat.

He washed their feet and broke the bread,
He blessed our lives though we were dead.
He gave his life to conquer death,
So we are free to live instead.

We celebrate the lamb of God,
Who blood was let to win our cause.
Rejoice, give thanks with voices loud,
To fear of death no more give pause.

Be humbled now as life moves on,
For we are weak and he is strong.
He carries us when we can't move,
To heaven's home where we belong.

Hi Jeffrey - this is lovely, and I am
glad that you have found something in
your life to give you strength.

I do know that those that find
a group to which they can belong in
a "spiritual" sort of way, that they
live healthier lives. Regardless, of
which belief system they decide to
choose.

Other than that, without getting into
a hefty religious debate - that is all
I going to say --)

Hugs to you,
netswan
