BANGOR (that OR) ME

And as he sat down
he ignored his ministries
the child lay curled in a ball
smart enough not to cry
developing the same spark
seen in his father's eyes

A real man
kisses his children goodnight

This short poem speaks volumns. If only the spark in the child eyes could be healed before he too ignites more sparks.

through the eyes of that child.
