Eloise asked me to post this for her as she is having computer problems and as this is relevant to Mother's Day she asked that I post this for her as she won't be getting her new computer until June.

Gone But Not Forgotten

Reliving, in memory, those days that were good.
The reflection of our wonderful childhood.
The smiles and laughter were always there.
You had so much love to go around and share.

We always could go and cry in your arms,
And count on you always, to protect us from harm.
With affection and compassion you taught us to live.
How to love one another and how to forgive.

The gentleness of your touch and the warmth of your eyes,
Made it so hard to say our good-byes.
You left us crying and in great pain,
But in our hearts you will always remain.

So we come to you on this special day of mothers,
To sit by your side and bring you some flowers.
To tell you how much you are loved and missed.
And though you are gone, you will always exist.

Denise, please let Eloise know that her poem has touched me...my mother has passed, also, and this describes very well how it is to retain and cherish her memory. Such a lovely piece of writing...thank you, Denise, for sharing Eloise's words with us.

Give her a hug and a gentle tear
To let her know we feel her near
Show Eloise she is not alone
Our hearts too have felt this poem.

A beautiful sentiment to a very special lady, Eloise...and I'm sure she is smiling as she feels your love...

Please let Eloise know that I found this to be so touching. When one who meant so much to you is gone ... Mother's Day can be a difficult event, but with such fondness and memories, they live on forever in our hearts. Lovely and memorious tribute ...

Best Wishes,
/Kit

Truly touching.......I enjoyed it alot

Denise, you're so sweet in posting this up for your friend. Tell her I said that it was a excellent piece for mother's Day. And Denise, I got your email and everything you said was right. I didn't really know the word meant but know I do thanks to you. Good bye, everyone!
