Beyond Words

If I said I love you
With every single breath
From the moment of my birth
To the moment of my death

I could not begin to tell you
Just how much you mean to me
For there are no words to express
The feelings that I have for thee.

Every tear that you shed
Washes over me like a flood
I want to take away your pain
And shield you with my love.

Every time you smile
My spirit takes to flight
The warmth of your happiness
Fills my heart with purest light.

I want to be able
To tell you, so desperately
But the words cannot be found
To say just what I mean.

So every night I pray
As I fall on my knees
That what I cannot tell you
I can show you through my deeds.

~you reached inside, you touched my heart,
and I am all the better for it~

You have done a fantastic job of expressing your feelings of love and I agree that we need to tell someone we love them and to put our words into action and show them our love.  James

Terry, this is exceptional...
such total devotion....
seems to me you did indeed find the words...
quite perfectly in fact.
take care, jm

Terry,
I don't know - your words are speaking pretty loudly here.  This is so very touching.  It melts my heart.

Terry* This was magnificent!  This is most definately how it is in true love....never able to show it all or tell it all and the words "I Love You" just don't say it all, but when you find "her" she'll know....no words needed

 Hold me for yesterday
Kiss me for tomorrow
But love me for today.

Thank you, sweetie.  I am glad you like it, and it is true - no words are needed.  It just gets so frustrating sometimes when you want to say something, but the words just won't come out.  I guess I need your class, too
