  Nothing stops

Although my substance
Ripe in time
Voids in rest
Unexpressed.
You might not think
I battle yet
Childhood thoughts
Impressed.
Although my substance
Ripe in time
Voids its coup
It dances yet
A youthful tune
In dream
By phantoms
All new.

Wow, Sy.  This is chilling.

love the ending - I too seem to be facing new phantoms... as if the old ones weren't enough to deal with...LOL  Great poem, love the change up on form.

Wonderful!

" It dances yet A youthful tune In dream By phantoms All new."

Loved it!

Seymour, I cannot read one of your poems without enjoying your perspective. Well writ, as always...
