Everything to me.... You are the stars in my sky, the dark in the night. the rays of the sun, the most beautiful sight... You are the air that I breathe, the food that I eat. You're everything I need, you make me complete... You are the green in the grass, the sparkle in my eye. the blue in the water, the wings I need to fly... You're everything I've wanted, You're the only thing I know. You're all that I treasure, You're all I've got to show... There's no such thing as perfect, though you are very close. And now that you're gone, out of my reach, Your love is what I miss most.... I'd rather have someone hate me for who i am,than to have someone like me for who i'm pretending to be |

***tia, this poem is so touching. the ending wrenched at my heart so much. it is so painful to have lost the one thing that gave your life any meaning. i can relate to that well. as long as you are writing fantastic poery like this, you'll get through.  I am not a preacher, I just speak the world as I see it. |

Nice lines here Tia, great read... particularly when you leave us with "And now that you're gone, out of my reach, Your love is what I miss most...." It's so very hard to miss those that hold the key of life in your eyes. My wish for you is that your pain be eased by the understanding that in time things like this will pass...and in the living of such experience you have become a better person.
