If I were a star,
Wouldn't I be shining for you?
If I were a clock,
Wouldn't I be ticking for you?
If I were a cloud,
Wouldn't I be floating for you?
If I were the moon,
Wouldn't I be waiting for you?

O my sky, my beautiful deep blue sky,
As the sun shines into you,
Bringing shades of crimson, red and yellow, so bright,
Waiting for the night to say hello,
Brushing aside the light,
Paving way for the dark,
My dear night sky...

 In any moment of decision,
The best thing you can do is the right thing,
The next-best thing is the wrong thing,
And the worst thing you can do is nothing.
- Theodore Roosevelt

This lovely poem is a painting of such honest and pure love, it touches me very deeply.  Very nicely written.  I know these feelings, that you have put so well into words!

Sudhir~

This is so very pretty.

'Waiting for the night to say hello'

And the neat thing is ... we get to see it every evening.  I love the sunset that kisses the night into being.

Nice render.
