(from the freezer, edible sweet ice
imprinted with riddles.
to find the answer you must swallow)

in a snow bank.
what's the richest kind of air?
what do you call a piece of wood with nothing to do?

"home on the range."
sandy. cliff.
he wanted to brainwash him.

in a remote area.
the street.

in baseball parks.
behind the plate.
he gave him a check.

what's the difference between an actor and a baker?
what did the announcer name his son?

(in a variety of colors, sticky wood bones,
dry and light asleep in their wrappers.

i learned nothing i needed to know,
you know)

wisdom is right...
and either way...you were inspired...
so you gained something
I'll take inspiration from where ever it comes. *smile*

Hmmm..Interesting poem, but I don't know if I understood the point of it. LOL! It could just be my state of mind today.

Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau"

s,
Believe me, riddles printed on popsicle sticks are useless knowledge.

jm/bs,
Glad you enjoyed. I knew I'd get around to the sequel to "juice pop wisdom" some time. And there's a pun there, by the way. "pop wisdom" -- all that bs rich psychologists tell us what's wrong with us. Anyway...

t,
Don't worry, it's not you. This is one of those poems I wrote just for the words, not the meaning.

i've been doing that myself lately...writing poems for the sounds of the words and who cares if it means anything or what it means to anybody... it's a little experiment i'm doing...

anyway... about your poem... i liked it and didn't know why i liked it... the poem itself is like riddle on a popsicle stick... enjoyed!
