Spring Haiku

Heartstrings, heart songs, sing
Messages of love they bring
Sing heart, heart song, Spring

Marge

Hooked am I to pen
paper, computer, where, when
Flourish forth, dreams spin.

Nice thought, but I believe that haikus are supposed to be about nature, not feelings or emotions.  Also, do not force rhyme, let your poetry fit the form of the poem.  Spring=renewal=freeflowing.  Do not get me wrong, I really did like the poem, but please do not force yourself into the constraints of this type of poem.  I firmly believe that one should write to fit themselves, and just let the pen (or in this case, the keyboard) just recieve the emotions and let them flow to the paper (or to the screen).

Sunshine~

Your pen fits paper
Quite nicely if I do say
All work leaves no play

You send your best thoughts
The way you want them to be
Unique poetry

You write and I read
Much delight for both of us
Haiku means no fuss

Let mind flow in ink
Penning whatever YOU think
Me like you Haiku
