Old Soul I Await Your Answer

I beseech you old soul
tell me in which way to walk
for I have lost my bearing’s
and fortitude.

I possessed strength upon
will during my youth, and
maintained precious ground
through adult challenge.

But even though I have
grown in wisdom I have lost
strength in heart to survive
this days trials and strife.

Please old soul give of your
wisdom, teach this forsaken
flesh the way through its
trials and errors.

My heart has taken possession
of me, and will not loosen its
grip. To over ride its power
is to no avail.

To bring these pangs of distress
to there end I must find the
answers.  To save myself, but
destroy others in the process this
is my dilemma.

Please old soul hear my begging
look my direction and give that
in which you are known, the
knowledge to conquer the hearts
pull, please show me your wisdom
I await your spoken word.

HI EVERYONE,

Thank you for your kinds replys. If a mountain of you know what (----) could fall on you, you would get out of its way, except when the mountain is so BIG,GIANT,MOSTEROUS you get the picture, well I ran but not fast enough and so my day is full (----) of you know what!!!!

Hence poor pitiful me poem,

But tomorrow is another day right,

This is very well written but beyond that it echos my thoughts very often...a romantic often forgets until you're holding broken heart in hand that it's often better to lead with your soul and mind rather than your heart.  Awesome job and thank you so much for sharing this.

Cerenity,
Dear, You have touched me yet again!  I often have to ask for guidance from the "old soul" as well.  But worry not.  Just when things get their worst, then there is no where to go but up!

Love Ya!

Cerenity,
What a lovely poem!  I too know how it feels to be crushed under that mountain (--).
But luckily, when you have friends like the ones I have found here, you can always dig your way out quickly and carry on.

Cerenity,

I feel your words within my soul, and wish the same wishes. Oh, that we could have power over the "heart's pull"(excellent words). There would be a lot less broken hearts in the world. Great poem.

Definitely a powerful piece.  I have often been called an old soul myself..and I believe I am.  Exellent work, Cerenity, I enjoyed this a lot.
