Think of me very scientifically
this kind of sucker-love so bittersweet
Why is it that with all your charm
and your vices
you think of me when you close your eyes?

You are the utopian dream
that I can't fathom completely
but I try
oh, I try
feeling the weight of your soul loving mine.

Strawberry wine and deep blue kisses
Your voice, the ring of your laughter
flies to me on gossamer wings
It might have been a while since you've been loved
like you should be loved....

People like us are meant to go around in pairs...
the staccato of our steps falling upon no man's ear
In tender loving arms might be something you miss...
There's something in your eyes that cannot be disguised...
don't tell me it ain't there.

Welcome! This is a delicious poem of unconditional love...the only kind that counts! More, more.. Ellie

E=mc2, scientifically speaking that is
there is another called entropy
that is that unless you add energy, everything goes from hot to cold.
I liked your poem,
and this is from the biggest sucker of them all.
take care and God bless

Poetically speaking, welcome and I
love this.  It sounded as if you were
speaking it directly, and that's a
nice feeling when reading a poem.
