Are you all prepared for the ghosts and the goblins
Or other strange creatures who will knock on your door?
As you shiver and shake and bribe them with candy,
Their masks will slip down and you'll fear them no more.

How different than these are the ghouls in our news,
With their devious tricks only Satan would dare.
We could plead with them, bribe them, nothing would stay them,
They have used our own mails to send disease rare.

Some innocent people have died from their trickery.
We will soon track them down and our foes will then find,
The only scary monster to succeed in his mission,
Is that small one in a mask with sweets on his mind.

Yes, it's very sad that there are real ghouls lurking about wreaking real havoc and misery. Very well expressed, Joyce.
