 One person made a difference because he loved me. One person believed beyond the surreal, uncovered the layers, no, he did not turn away. It was me who turned. One person…. poetically, unconditionally, lovingly changed my life. One person opened my hands, held them, touched them, kissed them, and yes, I believed in the love. How can I not? Now, I walk a corridor alone. I must…I have to. Why? I have to close a door. Yes, I closed the door. for in loving someone you sometimes have to leave to keep from hurting them. I will open the window because I can barely breathe. But I am alive, because of him writing, feeling, forgiving, healing and remembering and always, always smiling. -befriend yourself and you will never be alone- (thank you.....thank you [This message has been edited by The Lady of Shallot (edited 10-24-2001).] |
