On a pristine stretch of solid sand,
beneath the serene surface of lazy sunshine,
my mind stops thinking - it rests
in placid contemplation
of life in the languid lane.

I can stare at nothing -
neither remembering nor forgetting.
I breathe in all intoxication, seduced
by a landscape stirred to life by a summer wind -
Nature's orchestrations scrubbing the world
clean of chaos, astonishing the senses.

Moments like this are too far apart, when you commune with nature and just contemplate!

to be lost in the wonder of the natural world is exquisite is it not?

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

'by a landscape stirred to life by a summer wind -' I love your imagery.
