-North: The Forgetting Wind-

The North wind is blustery
Blowing in my face.
It stings as it rips at this
Life made of lace.

Reality beats
Upon fantasy’s door
With no regard
For her worn-out dance floor.

Twisted is time,
But her future is bright.
Touched not by famine,
Sweet sorrow or blight.

Revelation has come
With a fiery fist
But here I stand, numb,
For the blow, it has missed

I won’t walk alone now
In faded mind-set
For the North wind does come
To help me forget.

Thank you, my Joyce.  Things have been pretty busy around here so I haven't been able to get online as much as I like lately.  I cannot wait for spring, but I am enjoying the snow we've been getting - just don't care for the below zero temps.
Take care and I will try to get back more often!
Shereen.

Shereen:  Well, you and I are sharing some of that chilly weather, I see.  Nice to see you here today and enjoyed your poem.

(big angel hugs) Oh Shereen, my heart goes out to you as I send sunbeam hugs your way, God Bless You, I understand this feeling of numbness and may the south come to greet you, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Shereen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
