Childhood Faith
~*Marge Tindal*~

She said, "Come and sing for me,
little songbird of my dreams."

And he did with sweet melody~

Not a note did songbird miss
for a child’s faith is impossible to dismiss
So he sang his song with purest glee~

The child sat entranced
and one could tell at a glance
that the songbird and she
were united through eternity~

A bonding so strong
as to join in a life-long song
that gives us all
a reason to believe
all things are possible with childhood faith~

~Just a little word-flow after watching my granddaughter, Delaney,
coax a songbird right out of his song~

the spirit rejoices over what it has left.

This is so true.  What a wonderful time Childhood.  And yet we feed them the best of food, stuff them full of vitamins and are proud of every inch they put on.  What's with that?  Love, Joyce

Dear Marge; How warm and tender is this poem! The picture is so precious too! Hugs, Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
