You can try to convince me if you like
I will not listen, I will not believe
You see I have been here once before
Heard every plausable excuse you concieve

Hiding your shame, flustered and wary
A painful story in effort of deceit
Harnessing anger, passing the blame
Burying feelingsbeneath conceit

Before you try to bend my will
Scream and shout and castigate
Accept our differences like I do
Reconcile and accept our fate

Learn from this that you are free
Undestand that we were never there
That you didnt love me any more
Go forward now and learn to care
