Etched in the illusion of time

0 posted 2003-11-30 01:32 PM

She is crying to be heard,
somewhere, lost in the depth of mindful solitude.
Soliloquy of defeat painted on lips that
bring no sound, no whisper of sanity heeded
by a rising desert sun.

Delirium abundantly fills Egyptian lamentation,
heat pervades a requiem with fire.
Passionately dying.
Aria strung in a thousand dreams, like her,
grasping and resurfaced,
tiny works of artistic aberration.

Chanting in beautiful lunacy; she has no recollections
of the coherency in balance.

Hot sand on her virgin feet
hauntingly voracious need--
a hunger
unquenchable thirst tended by the heated tears
she allows
to fall

hands
find skin to be illusory;
bones and blood and sensitivity,
in all she exists.

eyes
vivaciously alluring death
come to me

A murmur of delusion circulates along
dunes piled higher,
higher still.

And in the heat of tomorrow,
she sleeps
alive with the fever of dementia.

Hot,
hungry,
heaven...
abounds.

If I were to touch you, would you bleed a velvet river, running miracles through the sodden ground? --Moi

Your poetry is supreme! I am eager to read more of it!

(smiles) This leaves the poet seeing all those mirages and ignis fatuus along the path of life and seeing so much more behind the eyes, sweet friend, God Bless You, your poetry is so special to us all here, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
