Ambiguous When I'm out in the wind, Someone hands me hot chocolate. I know it will melt in my mouth, Yet my heart hesitates. Somewhere in my heart, I feel I ought not Be offered a drink. Somewhere in my heart Feel that I don't Deserve good care. Somewhere in my heart Tells me not to trust- Not to trust any man. And here it comes... The fairy tale, That when men offer a drink, Think twice cause They may want more than a drink. And when they offer a ride, Never say yes, Cause you never know Where you're going to be end up. While I'm out in the wind, Someone is waiting for my hand To pick up the cup in his hand. And I I say no to him. Cause I don't feel safe, Yet all I really want is his cup. I think my dear you should hone your instincts. Learn to read them. they may be feeling just as vulnerable as you do.Few of them are very good actors. My little two year old granddaughter was looking out the window the other day at a group of street workers in their hard hats. She turned to her mother and said "I just love men." I hope she learns to be selective as she grows older, but I think most men are just as nice as you expect them to be. Love, Joyce |
