Why must you leave now, is this the only way? what will become of me, I shudder now to say. My life revolves around you, you’re my magic star, don’t think that I could bear to love you from afar. You are the tender heart dear that I really never had, my nights were pretty awful, the days were just as bad. That day you came to me, was the best day of my life, the thought of you with someone else cuts me like a knife. Can’t you see how much I love you, that I really care? My world will crash completely the moment you’re not there. I die a thousand times today; today and every day, my life will lose it’s purpose when you go away. Can’t you see the agony in these red rimmed eyes still true? Nothing matters anymore but this burning love for you. This is the single nightmare that I feared most if it came, my soul completely shattered now will never be the same. Go now if you must then, I’ll turn my back like so, don’t touch me as you pass by, just go my love, just go. I’ll wait until the dreaded silence is heavy in the air, then finally let the tears come in a river of despair. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

It hurts so much loving someone who doesn't return your love, and you've captured that pain well. This is beautifully written. |

Ohhhhh...I could feel the raw emotions...the passion in your words....this is an excellent poem...filled with sadness and despair...yet...I could feel you have not given up all hope...good for you...hang in there! Thank you for sharing something that is so very personal. |

These lines above really clenched my heart, such a sad poem, but so beautifully written  Maree "little miss understood |
