New Moon Phase

When she thinks she is suffering,
She runs around the streets
Only to find places aren't so sweet.
She cries and cries, sitting on the floor,
For she now feels the real tearing.

Tearing of the heart, yearning
Yearning for someone to understand,
All they need is a roof to stand
Under- they don't need people to smile, to them.
For a tearing heart has no desire, but smiling-

Smiling half crying, half washing the face,
They are but helpless captivity,
They are but victim of harsh reality.
She dries her tears, and swears
To live her life in a new moon phase.

I think this piece cries from the heart
and then -
