Tangled threads of miscellaneous thought
accumulated debris,
Fragments of experience
nostalgia in assembly.

Hoarded away in layers of dust
redundant and undisturbed,
Are suddenly, surprisingly
awoken and perturbed.

Feelings and words are welling up
and eddying to the surface,
Forgotten dreams that i had lost
now finally have their purpose.

In its bid to be free
my mind is secretly churning,
Desperately seeking a way to express
and a let out for its yearning

I pick up my pen with sweet relief,
the words come stuttering first,
Then cascading fast and free
quenching an inner thirst.

Exhausted now but satisfied
with a smile that says it all,
I've finally found a let out
i just let the words freefall

June~
Truly amazing how the spill of ink is a comforting relief of feelings too long stored away~

Let it flow~

junemac:  I really enjoyed this poem. I know that feeling of having a lot to say, but can't quite seem to find the right beginning.  Once you do, it's a joy to let the words flow!

Positively glorious...wonderful feeling, isn't it? Hugs, Ellie
