Pathways  through  its  doors  are  worn
By  feet  of  many  souls
Through  century  and  more  of  time
Her walls have heard each bell that tolls

Wenches  with  their  ways  and  smiles
Men with  thirsts  so  great
Have  sat  upon  her  bar room  stools
And  called  each  other friend and mate

A head of game does claim the wall
The  fire  fights  the  cold
A  tale  or  two  within  is  spoke
And  often  double  told

She  holds the memories  of  the  past
Her floors  creek  from  the  weight
Her doors  they  open  when  it’s  time
Her nights go on till very late

Sharing friendship, country feel
Serving  every  round
Then hoping  when  it’s  time  you  leave
You’re  safely  homeward  bound

Thank you for the tour, sounds like a good place to tell a tale.

I enjoyed the image you gave me of the pub. Many may try to reproduce it in the States but I think none can compare to the real one. Never been there but hope to some day.

Although I don't drink or go the Pubs, it is nice that there are a few places where everyone knows your name.

This is neat,
the image is painted
down to perfection through
your words, great job!
