Ive been gone for quite some time Absent from here for much to long Ive missed the people, and the rhyme Missed all the voices singing one song Ive peeked in every now and then But I could never stick around My poets pen was broken And a new one had to be found I strayed far in search of myself Scoured the length and bredth of my heart Looking for the spring of poetic wealth A new place for my words to start Now the fated winds have changed Guiding me on a new course Pushing across the distance I have ranged Guiding me on a new course, home [This message has been edited by Wesley the Blue (03-29-2003 05:12 PM).] |

More like you were, I still remain, but I think your expressed commitment sounds like a pretty good idea as this forum seems to me to be a mighty fine forum in which to post your work. Oh, and I think some darn good poetry writing is in here too including your fine poem here. Good job. -Bob |
